ACCOUNT MANAGER

Responsibilities 

  • Conduct telephonic and virtual face to face calls to designated targeted accounts (75% dedicated time) 

  • Conduct Field sales calls to local targeted accounts on an “on-demand” basis. (25% dedicated time) 

  • Develop relationships with assigned accounts to determine product utilization  

  • Persuade targeted accounts to use product(s) using effective selling skills, communicating pricing details and facilitating orders through to delivery  

  • Provide approved product and marketing information  

  • Collaborate with assigned Field Sales Reps to effectively cover a client’s territory and targets. • Attend sales meetings, conference calls, and training sessions  

  • Work with sales team to develop strategies and implement brand strategies to ensure a consistent marketing message  

  • Build positive trust relationships to influence targeted group in the decision-making process  

  • Monitor and analyze data and market conditions to identify competitive advantage  

  • Keep accurate records and documentation for reporting and feedback  

  • Pursue continuous learning, professional development and stay up to date with latest medical data 

  • Daily management and reporting of all activities within CRM system.  

Minimum Requirements

  • Full-time 40 hours 

  • BA/BS degree 

  • ~3yrs of sales experience– Inside Pharmaceutical sales experience required, Field or Hybrid experience is beneficial but not a requirement.  

  • Account mapping, B2B  

  • Familiarity with CRM databases, statistics, product lines and latest medical issues  

  • Excellent communication, negotiation and selling skills  

  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales  

  • Strong organizational and time management skills 

  • Strong oral and written communication skills 

  • Independent thinker with the ability to find the tools and resources to be successful 

  • Open to travel approximately 25% of the time  

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office & Expense Reporting systems.
